The CPP30321 – Certificate III in Cleaning Operations prepares students for a variety of roles in both general residential and commercial cleaning settings, as well as in specialised environments like hospitals, schools, hotels, and clubs. This qualification equips individuals with the skills required to maintain cleanliness across diverse spaces, including cleaning hard floors, glass surfaces, rooms, furniture, and food-handling areas.
Students will also learn how to clean carpeted floors, maintain amenities, and apply infection prevention and control procedures in their work activities. The course emphasises working effectively in business environments while ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards in all cleaning tasks.

All units in this course require work placement. To be issued with a CPP30321 – Certificate III in Cleaning Operations qualification, participants will need to meet all assessment requirements for all units of competency in the course. Please note, in the case that one or some, but not all of the units of competency being completed, a Statement of Attainment can be issued.
This qualification reflects the role of cleaners responsible for undertaking a range of routine and non-routine tasks according to work schedules, liaising with clients and, in some cases, members of the public, and operating in a range of general residential and commercial settings as well as specialist cleaning environments. The cleaner may work alone, with or without supervision, and has responsibility for selecting, preparing and using appropriate cleaning methods for a range of cleaning situations while ensuring safe work practices.
